Mechanical Engineering

About

This study programme engages students in designing mechanical devices, along with providing knowledge of different materials and the manner in which they are made. Students learn how to use innovative computer design programmes, and will practice working in teams and cooperating with other specialists to create operating devices, robots or machines, which might be used in industry or for other uses. 

The main courses in the curriculum include Introduction to Mechanical Engineering; Computer-aided Structural Design; Fundamentals of Automatic Control of Mechatronic Systems; Computerized Design of Processing Technologies; and Environmental Engineering.

Global issues you will tackle

Creating new devices or robots for use in the waste and recycling industries, will contribute towards a cleaner environmental future.
