Affiliated Professors

Bela H. Buck, Germany. He is a well-known marine biologist and aquaculture expert. He made a significant contribution to the development of the marine innovation ecosystem, the Centre for Aquaculture Competence, and an experimental base in Klaipėda.

Thomas Lekscha, Germany. Since 2014, he has been a visiting professor at the Faculties of Health Sciences and of Marine Technology and Natural Sciences of Klaipėda University, participated in the Erasmus+ exchange programme, and contributed to the development of the study process and scientific research.

Volker Wittpahl, Germany. For a number of years, he has been representing KU in Germany and providing versatile support. He shares experience in the areas of innovation- technology transfer, energy use efficiency, mobile batteries, alternative energy, autonomous robotic systems, and data security.

Jonathan Daniel de Courcey Edward Minchin, Ireland. He has made a great  contribution to the development of marine sciences at KU and to strengthening the University's scientific potential in the international arena.
