Blended Intensive Programme

Klaipeda University lecturers, together with foreign partners, are invited to develop and organise Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) and to involve students in them through short-term mobility opportunities.

A Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) is a short-term intensive Erasmus+ academic exchange programme implemented by at least three foreign higher education institutions in at least three Erasmus+ countries.
Programme objectives:

  • To bring together students from different fields of study;
  • Developing international and interdisciplinary curricula;
  • Innovative/innovative ways of learning and teaching;
  • online communication and collaboration;
  • research-based learning;
  • challenge-based approaches to address societal challenges.

This programme combines physical short-term mobility in a foreign country with a virtual component. During the whole component, the student will gain at least 3 ECTS or more. Students have the opportunity to expand their knowledge and intercultural cooperation through research and challenge-based learning and advanced methods.

The virtual component enables experts from all partners to participate in the training and learning. Meanwhile, the short-term physical mobility gives lecturers and students the opportunity to collaborate live.

Physical mobility can last between 5 and 30 days.
