Topic: "Digital Magic and AI in Academia"
Training will be held on 26-28th of May, each day from 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.
Information: Do you work in academia? Are you juggling multiple projects, systems, and administrative tasks? If you’d like to discover practical tips and tricks for using Excel, Power Query, and other digital tools, and learn how to make AI your assistant rather than your competitor, this Blended Intensive Program is designed especially for you. A 3-day program will cover various topics from digital literacy and etiquette to cultural aspects in a multilingual and multicultural environment. You will have the privilege to attend a course delivered by a guest lecturer from the University of Porto.
Objectives:
- Learning Excel tricks to make your office life easier.
- Making AI work for you – not against you.
- Learning Power Query and data management secrets.
- Digital literacy and etiquette in multicultural academic environments.

- Increased confidence in using digital tools in an academic setting.

Jorge Santos, graduated in Computer Engineering in the field of Information Systems, and specialized in the Master's Degree in Knowledge and Decision Technologies, has extensive experience in the development of information systems and web solutions for the digitalization of internationalization in Higher Education. Collaborating with the International Relations Office of the Rectorate of the University of Porto, he has a history of working in multidisciplinary teams, representing the University of Porto in international contexts and contributing to the architecture and implementation of management and interoperability tools in European digitalization projects in Higher Education. |
